Where is your money going?

We've put together a budget breakdown video for you, explaining why we decided to crowdfund £10,000 for Artist/Muse, and where that money is going. 

Why we’re giving you a budget breakdown…

Transparency is important. We want to be fully upfront about the costs of this production, to give you (and future supporters) the confidence that your generous contributions will be put to good use. 

We also thought this might be useful for other theatre industry folk to understand the costs associated with doing the Edinburgh Fringe, and structuring your budget to support your mandate as a company. 

Spoiler alert - as we've said before, a large part of this money is going towards paying our actors and creatives ethically. We are engaging our actors in an EquityUK Fringe Agreement in support of the union's Professionally Made, Professionally Paid campaign to prove a better, fairer Fringe is possible. 

It was really important to us to align this production with our company mandate of creating paid opportunities for creatives whilst fostering creativity and uplifting marginalised voices. Your pounds/dollars/yuan are doing exactly that.
